Lymphoedema Primary Care Service

The Lothian Lymphoedema Primary Care Service serves all people of Lothian with a diagnosis of primary or secondary lymphoedema, excluding those who are under the care of the Edinburgh Cancer Centre and can access the lymphoedema service there.

Each patient can be referred from any health care professional and if appropriate, should have an Ankle Brachial Pressure index completed prior to referral to rule out arterial disease.  Each patient will then be offered a comprehensive lymphoedema assessment and treatment options will be discussed and planned as appropriate for each individual.
